Platinum Health offers a range of vaccines that can help protect your family. Here’s a guide to the important vaccinations we recommend:

Age Vaccine(s) & Notes
Birth BCG (Bacilles Calmette Guérin): Protects against tuberculosis (TB), a disease that affects the lungs.
6 weeks
  • RV (Rotavirus): Protects against rotavirus, which causes severe diarrhoea and can be dangerous, especially in babies.
  • PCV (Pneumococcal Conjugated Vaccine): Protects against pneumococcal bacteria, which can cause pneumonia, meningitis, and ear infections.
  • DTaP-IPV-Hib-HBV (Hexavalent Vaccine): Combination vaccine protecting against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, polio and Haemophilus influenzae type B. It’s one of the most important vaccines your baby will receive.
10 weeks DTaP-IPV-Hib-HBV (Hexavalent Vaccine): The second dose to boost your baby’s protection against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, polio and Hib.
14 weeks
  • RV (Rotavirus): Second dose to protect against severe diarrhoea caused by rotavirus.
  • PCV (Pneumococcal Conjugated Vaccine): Second dose to protect against pneumococcal infections.
  • DTaP-IPV-Hib-HBV (Hexavalent Vaccine): Third dose to boost protection against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, polio and Hib.
6 months MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella Vaccine): Protects against measles, a highly contagious disease that can lead to complications like pneumonia, diarrhoea, and brain swelling.
9 months PCV (Pneumococcal Conjugated Vaccine): Third dose to protect against pneumococcal infections.
12 months MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella Vaccine): Provides long-term protection against measles, mumps and rubella.
18 months DTaP-IPV-Hib-HBV (Hexavalent Vaccine): Final dose of this combination vaccine.
6 years
  • DTaP-IPV (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio): Protects against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and polio.
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella Vaccine): Protects against measles, mumps and rubella.
9 years and older HPV (Human papillomavirus): Protects against cervical cancer, anogenital warts, oropharyngeal cancers and precancers. Two doses are recommended.
12 years TDaP-IPV (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, Polio): Protects against tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis and polio.
Adult
  • Influenza: Protects you from severe flu illness.
  • PCV: Protects adults with high-risk conditions against meningitis, septicaemia, pneumonia and otitis media caused by pneumococcal infections.
