Benefit Highlights 2026
As we move into 2026, we will continue to focus on affordability, innovation and better healthcare access for you. Here’s a look at our benefit highlights for 2026!
Contributions
We increased contributions by approximately 7% for all three plan options, which is still below the market average. Since 2020, our total increases have remained well below industry trends – proving our commitment to value and affordability.
New benefits
- PlatComprehensive and PlatCap: We increased benefit limits by 4.5% in line with inflation for 2026. Just another way we are maintaining the richness of our benefits.
- PlatFreedom: We’re unlocking the Overall Annual Limit into a dedicated Hospital Annual Limit, this offers an incredible 36% increase in benefits. All other limits remain as standalone benefits, preserving everyday healthcare access.
- We’re expanding coverage and introducing new vaccines (pneumococcal for adults and RSV) to ensure that you have access to the best possible healthcare.
Why are pneumococcal and RSV vaccines important additions?
Pneumococcal disease poses serious risks to adults, particularly those with chronic conditions or compromised immunity. By covering pneumococcal vaccines, we’re preventing potentially severe complications, hospitalisation and long-term health impacts.
RSV vaccines for pregnant women protect newborns during their most vulnerable period, reducing lower respiratory tract disease in infants.
- PlatComprehensive and PlatCap members can get pneumococcal and RSV vaccines via their preventative healthcare benefit from either our in-house pharmacies or designated service provider (DSP) pharmacies.
- Members on the PlatFreedom option can use our in-house pharmacies or their Pharmacy of Choice to get the pneumococcal or RSV vaccines via their preventative healthcare benefit.
