If you are on the PlatComprehensive and PlatCap options:

• You can use any GP, unless you’re within 50km of our medical facilities or designated service providers (DSPs), in which case you have to use them!
• Just remember that we pay 100% medical scheme rates. This means if the GP you choose to consult charges more than our medical scheme rates; you will have to pay the difference between what we pay and what the GP charges!
• Remember the R80 levy per GP visit applies.
• View DSP GPs on WhatsApp 080 000 6942, our website www.platinumhealth.co.za or call Client Liaison on 014 590 1700.
• If you need to get a prescription filled for acute medicine and you’re not close to one of our pharmacies, you can visit any Clicks, Dischem or any other pharmacy.

If you are on the PlatFreedom option:

• You can use any GP or pharmacy to get a prescription for acute medicine.
• Just remember we pay 100% medical scheme rates.
